| We always like having pieces that feature certain sections of the band. This arrangement is the "leader" of all feature pieces--it features every section. There is an opportunity for each and every section to stand up, play, and be recognized. The melodies are based on the Austrian folk song "The Orchestra Song." Tell your students "lieder" is the German word for Song! |
