THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS |
| Description |
| Hoping for peace in the world is the force behind this arrangement. The use of two beautiful rounds, one from the western tradition and one from the mid-eastern tradition gives this piece the melodic interest that keeps middle school kids motivated. Dona Nobis Pacem weaves its three beautiful phrases through the band which is followed by a haunted and pleading alto saxophone solo to begin Shalom Chavarim. The piece concludes with a beautiful choral of the opening theme. It is playable by a second year band. |
