Directors are always in search of music that can teach the time signature of 6/8. "Viva la Compagnie" is a perfect educational piece for doing just that. This arrangement sets this common folk tune in two ways. The first is in slow 6/8 with six pulses in each measure. The second section is a rousing fast 6/8 with two beats per measure.
